About Us

Emergency Preparation Solutions (EPS) is a small business which started in 2022.We are dedicated to providing our communities with quality emergency preparedness tools and supplies which will enable them to survive a potential natural disaster, such as devastating earthquakes.

We believe that everyone has a personal responsibility to care for themselves and their families and if called upon, their neighbors. 

Ralph and Vicki Gribben are native Californians and are the owners of EPS and were inspired to start this business by becoming involved in our community’s Emergency Preparedness neighborhood drills.  We live in a community where many of our residents are elderly and vulnerable if a disaster should strike.  California is “earthquake country”. We are located within three miles of the San Andreas fault – the largest earthquake fault in California.  This fault has not had a major event in over 160 years, so it is potentially overdue and could release its great destructive power at any time.  For this reason, we feel a responsibility to make people aware of the potential dangers and to prepare themselves as much as possible. A major earthquake event could cause widespread power outages and infrastructure failures. We are committed to providing quality emergency preparedness supplies and tools, such as emergency survival kits containing food, water, and first aid.  We believe every household should have an emergency kit in their homes and cars.  You may never need it, but you will be glad to have it in the event of an emergency.
